Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnucash
I need to create a currency account to convert between USD and GBP. I press the "Create a new Account" button on the toolbar. I look at the "Account Type" list. "Currency" is not there. I try selecting different parent accounts in the "Parent Account" list. "Currency" is not in the list for any of my accounts. I expect the Currency type to be available. I have existing accounts of type Currency that work correctly, but cannot create new ones. $ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch) Release: 8.10 $ apt-cache policy gnucash gnucash: Installed: 2.2.6-2ubuntu3 Candidate: 2.2.6-2ubuntu3 Version table: *** 2.2.6-2ubuntu3 0 500 http://archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/universe Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status ** Affects: gnucash (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Cannot create account of type "currency" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278541 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
