Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gconf
Ever since I started to use Intrepid Ibex amd64 (I started off with Alpha 3) on my Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo Pa1510 (AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-52 1.6GHz; 2Gb RAM; ATI RadeonĀ® Xpress 1100) I get this message at boot: "There is a problem with the configuration server. /usr/lib/libconf2-4/gconf-sanity-check-2 exited with status 256." I can only click "Close" to proceed to the Gnome gui environment. Once the boot is complete there don't seem to be any major problems, although the Gnome gui environment seems to be somewhat slow in reponsiveness. At the moment my Ubuntu OS has been updated to kernel 2.6.27-4-generic (Gnome 2.24; GCC version 4.3.2). The updates have not resolved this issue, unfortunately. ** Affects: gconf (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Intrepid Ibex amd64 beta.
