Public bug reported:

Even with the new kernel, my RTL8187 wireless card integrated into my
ASUS P5k-e WiFi/AP motherboard still not works by default, even if
people say this card is now fully supported by the new kernel. I'll
switch to ndiswrapper for now.

What happens is that it asks me to connect, asks me the wep key, and
everyting seems to be working, even if there is only 15% of connection
strength, but when I try to open a web page or ping something, it
doesn't work.
