Hi mangouste06,

Could you tell me if you have compiled you're own kernel before, or if
this is using the kernel image from ubuntu?

to make you're connection available durring boot, you just have to copy
the kernel modules where they should go, eg:

mkdir -p /lib/modules/$(uname -s)/rtl8185
cp ieee80211/*.ko rtl8185/*.ko /lib/modules/$(uname -s)/rtl8185/
