I already associated two of the fixes to a LP id (as well as a fdo bug): - Display garbled upon rotation bug #267266 https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17317 - Broken Xv output bug #267297 http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17254
The macbook problem is already discussed in length here: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17625 . The relevant commits appears to be: http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati.git;a=commitdiff;h=4af825f7b13cba8c3b204e72a07cab5009331240 http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati.git;a=commitdiff;h=83e1f132965deadedda7a622184eb400cd4c120c http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati.git;a=commitdiff;h=1218e38c75351a20f7414ba6fcb3545689339442 http://gitweb.freedesktop.org/?p=xorg/driver/xf86-video-ati.git;a=commitdiff;h=d100a6af8f828eb94f8ba6e8a96c24389b5cf46f Does this need to open a new LP bug? I don't know how to reproduce the sync-to-vblank problem. Wouldn't backporting all single fixes more harming than syncing with current git? I am using the updated packages from https://edge.launchpad.net/~tormodvolden/+archive and they appears to be working fine. -- upgrade to recent git snapshots to fix known bugs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/277104 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
