If you could elaborate a bit more that would be helpful. I myself am
not familiar with what "datashow" is. Is that a projector? It would
also be helpful if you could comment more specifically what Fn+F8 on
your particular system is suppose to do? For now I'm converting this to
a question in our support tracker at
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu as it is not clear that this is an
actual bug with the kernel .
