*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 263555 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/263555
The e1000e driver was disabled because it is suspected to cause problems with integrated gigabit chipsets. Your Ethernet controller, while it is only a 10/100 one, should be serviced by the e1000e driver in Intrepid, probably because of similarities in the chipset. It's a duplicate in the sense that your bug won't be resolved until bug #263555 is fixed in a way that will allow the driver to be re-enabled. My understanding is that there are many people (including people from Intel) who are working to resolve the issue. -- Network card not detected with the 2.6.27-4 kernel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/276021 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
