I tried to check the syslog to see why it had failed, but upon trying to do so, it succeeded in making a connection. Other matters are more pressing right now, but I will do some follow up testing later in the day. Hopefully it will fail again. But hopefully it will succeed.

Status in “linux” source package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Acer 5920 using a 4965 card cannot connect to the Internet under Ubuntu Alpha 6. Under Alpha 5, upon entering the Hex password for my router, it connected normally. Under Alpha 6, could not connect using my router at all. I tried a second test by trying to access an unprotected router, but not no avail. The network monitor's two green lights would both light up, but never did they finish connecting. -- [Intrepid] iwl4965 cannot connect https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/272367 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
