I don't know. I just don't log everything that ceases to work or works sporadically and my memory is really bad.
Today while experimenting again, I noticed something strange: If I close my notebook, it puts itself to sleep and doesn't wake up when I push the lid (and thus, the touchpad button). So everything is okay on that front. If I select the left-most option in the lower row of the logout screen (standby, don't know - I use the German version), it puts itself to sleep, too, but afterwards pushing the button wakes it up. After it woke up, it doesn't go into standby when I close the lid. Only after I logged in again, it goes to sleep when I close the lid. I never noticed there is a different behaviour between these two ways to put the notebook to standby. -- [Regression] Touchpad-button wakes up iBook from suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/260951 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
