Similar problem installing Kubuntu Intrepid Ibex Alpha 6 Alternate Hardware cpu : Intel Q6600 motherboard : Intel DP35DP
Installer runs without problems, no error messages. Then on reboot after install, some LILO messages flash by and then these messages: Kernel alive Kernel really alive PANIC : early exception 0e rip 10:ffffffff8022d581 error 0 cr2 ffffffffff5fc0f0 and the system hangs.
