Test Bed -- Kubuntu 8.04.1 Kmail 1.9.9 Dolphin 0.9.2 Steps to reproduce -- 1. Start Kontact and configure Imap/Pop3-SMTP email. 2. Close Kontact and start Dolphin 3. Right click any image/text file etc and select option "Actions" --> "Mail as Attachment.." 4. Put sender email address, subject, body etc and click send. 5. The error message about default sender not configured in identity is displayed and the Kmail application closes.
