Based on the linked bug reports in Alsa, it looks like the issue "should have been fixed on the latest HG tree" [1].
Can you confirm the fix in an 8.10 alpha, Pavel? Jonas, can you please provide the output of "lspsci -vvn"? If your sound card is identical to the one in the m1437g, I think we can mark the bug as fixed.
