I confirm the problem. I have a ThinkPad T43 (2668-95U) with a Atheros AR5212 WiFi card. I can connect to some WiFi network without problem. There is NetWork (at Univercity) that I connect to but are not available (can't access the Web).
Using the same laptop, at the same place ans same time, I can connect to this Network using Windows and access Internet. So it's make me believe it's a software problem. And ho please, change the Importance to medium. I'm welling to provide you any information you need. I have a contact at university that can give me detail information about the WiFi network it self. So ask what ever you need.
