As of a few minutes ago, I did sudo aptitude update sudo aptitude full-upgrade on what was an alpha-5 intrepid installation.
It is unable to detect anything. I can't even get 640x480 now. X is clearly starting -- it gives a graphical menu saying it cannot detect any devices (how ironic), then goes into a loop of asking if I want to reconfigure or troubleshoot. None of the reconfiguration options makes any difference.
