** Description changed: Hi, I'm doing a first time install and I'd like to put Ubuntu 8.04 to my (larger) second drive since there is plenty of room there. When I boot - into Ubuntu from the CD, everything seems to work except I it won't + into Ubuntu from the CD, everything seems to work except it won't recognize the second hard drive. I don't see it in the file browser or the partitioner. My primary drive is: Seagate ST3120026AS 114439 MB SATA NTFS My Second drive is : Seagate ST3400633AS 381552 MB SATA NTFS The drive is known to be in good working order since I can access it from WinXP. I am running a Dell XPS Gen 2, Intel P4 3GHz, 2 GB SDRAM I read the other postings but none seemed to address this. Thanks very much for your help!!! John
