I think this could possibly always occur, but possibly if Edgy was
installed with a floppy drive present as all PC's I have tested it on
have had floppy drives. Please note I have used the 32-bit version of
Edgy on all PC's.

PC1: Athlon 64 3200+, MSI Kn9 Neo NForce 550, 1Gb Dual DDR2 800, 256Mb
Leadtek GeForce 7950 GT, 160Gb SATA 2 HDD, DVD +RW (Primary IDE master),
ZIP 100 (Primary IDE slave)

PC2: Athlon 2500+, Gigabyte NForce 2 400 chipset (I believe), 1Gb Dual
DDR 400, 256Mb Gigabyte GeForce 7600 GS AGP, 160Gb SATA 2 HDD, DVD +RW
(Primary IDE master)

PC3: Pentium III 800, Plain vanilla Intel Desktop board 815, 256Mb
PC133, Intel 815 onboard video, 20Gb HDD (Primary IDE Master), CD-RW
(Secondary IDE Master)

PC4: Celeron 800, MSI Intel 810 motherboard, 256Mb PC133, 32Mb Gainward
GeForce 2 MX 400 PCI, 8Gb HDD (Primary IDE Master), CD (Secondary IDE
Master)

As you can see, a wide variety of computers, the main thing in common is
that all have had a floppy drive in them at the time of install, but I
am unsure as I have not tested it yet on a machine without floppy drive.
