Public bug reported: Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron. Ubuntu applications are not registered to Nautilus right click -> Create Document menu. Only "Empty file" choice is available.
The user expects to see options like: "Create document" (OO writer), "Create spreadshee" (OO Calc), "Creat text file" (gedit), etc. Since Ubuntu installs these applications by default it should be recommended to have them in Create... menu. Also, optional packages should register themselves to this menu when installed. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Right click "Create document" menu is empty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/273090 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
