Big diferences are when you have enabled bytecode interpretr. All aplications have nice fonts (specially msttcorefonts), but openoffice have ugly. I add screenshot.
You can reproduce it, when install msttcorefonts and enable bytecode intepretr (in fonts /etc/fonts/fonts.conf or in /etc/fonts/fonf.d): <match target="font"> <edit name="autohint" mode="assign"><bool>false</bool></edit> </match> P.S. I have clear instalation 6.10 on i386. ** Attachment added: "Ugly fonts i openoffice.org" http://librarian.launchpad.net/4964787/oo-bytecode.png -- Fonts on menus are antialiased differently from other programs https://launchpad.net/bugs/62256 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
