I never had a problem with Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper! Neither with NvAGP nor
with intel_agp. The problem only occured in Edgy.

Changing the NvAGP settings as instructed does not change a thing in
Edgy. "Power down" message is printed, but the system does not power
down. Instead the HDD light goes on again.
