Public bug reported:
When booting from a Intrepid Alpha 6 Live CD everything seems to go
fine, until the last message I see is "starting graphical environment"
(or something similar) and my monitor goes into standby mode (LED on
monitor goes from usual light green to orange) and nothing appears on
the screen.
