me too, here on latest Edgy. how to reproduce: open up a folder with lots of files in subdirectories (in my case, 115 files from about 300 directories)
hit CTRL+f and search for a file pattern hit CTRL+a to select all the results, copy to clipboard and paste into a new directory (or drag and drop). The copied files list won't match the search results. In my case, a copy of 115 search results only copies the first 13 files. I can copy each file from the results lists individually with no problems.
