Public bug reported: Intrepid/powerpc seems to be lacking any installable linux kernel, in fact it's also missing the "linux-meta" generated meta-packages such as "linux-image-powerpc"
this causes the install images to lack an installable kernel as well (see http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/daily/current/intrepid-alternate-powerpc+ps3.list) the main cause for all of this seems to be that builds are failing (see e.g. http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17507831/buildlog_ubuntu-intrepid-powerpc.linux_2.6.27-3.4_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz ): ... dpkg-buildpackage: source package linux dpkg-buildpackage: source version 2.6.27-3.4 dpkg-buildpackage: host architecture powerpc /usr/bin/fakeroot debian/rules clean debian/rules:24: debian/rules.d/powerpc.mk: No such file or directory make: *** No rule to make target `debian/rules.d/powerpc.mk'.
