Who is we?  Where is this documented?  If indeed you do not support
this, then the situation changes, but the priority remains the same.  If
this is unsupported, then do NOT support it properly by completely
disabling this functionality.  Either way, this is absolutely a critical
bug, nothing else.  Quoting from the classification used by Debian BTS
(taken from reportbug)

1 critical        makes unrelated software on the system (or the whole system) 
break, or causes
                  serious data loss, or introduces a security hole on systems 
where you install the
                  package.

This is a bug of the HIGHEST priority, there is absolutely nothing that
you can argue that away with.
