On Kubuntu/Gutsy can confirm same problem using GIMP or CUPS (test pages) on Epson Stylus Photo 1400. Powering off printer or cycling USB cable seems to fix. The USB cable pull avoids the power-up test and ink-charge which saves a small amount of ink.
Starting a new job will start at the end of the page in the printer since the page is not ejected. If another job starts up the page stays at the end of the printer, prints onto the last page of the last job (still in the printer) and then is spraying ink into the bare print area because a new sheet still has not fed in. -- Paper does not eject (form feed) with Epson Stylus Photo R320 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/228117 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
