paskma, thank you for this patch, I truly appreciate your work on this. I've been through hundreds of pages over the past few days of people discussing this bug and this is the first sight of hope :)
Apparently, Ubuntu upgraded gnome-panel to 2.22.3 (as shown in my System Monitor and About Gnome). Like the previous poster, I'm unsure if this patch will still work? The files that were downloaded by apt are [gnome-panel-2.22.2] and [libwnck-2.22.3]. Please advise how to proceed.
