Hi Sebastien,

I still get this, but the symptom has changed slightly, I the "Mute"
option in the context menu is now no longer selected, but selecting
and un-selecting it have no effect.

Thanks,

James

  Hi,

If I leave the mixer muted (with the mute control, rather than zeroing the
volume)
when I logout, when I next log in I cannot unmute the volume.

- The icon shows muted, and the checkbox in the popup menu for "mute" is
- selected. However selecting the checkbox to unmute it does not have
- any effect: the sound is still muted, and the icon and checkbox still
- indicate that.
+ The icon shows muted, but the checkbox in the popup menu for "mute" is

I am able to unmute the sound by raising the volume using the slider
  or the mouse wheel.

  Thanks,

  James
