I'm asking again what Christoph Korn asked. If the bug is caused by VirtualBox, and it will be fixed in 2.0.2, then why is the kernel patch necessary? It does help with VBox <= 2.0.0, but only makes things slower with VBox 2.0.2 (currently under development). So is the custom kernel patch going to be reverted or not?
