It is in debian policy to build everything from source, and the naming-
factory-dbcp.jar in Tomcat is built from a binary, making it non-
acceptable, that's probably the reason why we must use the original
commons-* libs. This also avoids code duplication which is Bad[tm].

Except the fact that it's not recommended and that the examples in the
docs need to be adapted, could you find an example of something that
doesn't work because we use the regular libs instead ?
