Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xubuntu-desktop

The font anti-aliasing in Xubuntu 8.04 Hardy has the font anti-aliasing
turned off by default. This makes fonts look ugly on LCDs. I think that
anti-aliasing should be enabled by default, since LCD monitors are
becoming more common, even on low-end machines.

** Affects: xubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
