Public bug reported:

Hello my fellow GNU/Linux lovers:

I have a USB to wired Ethernet adapter here that 'all of a sudden'
doesn't work anymore on Hardy because the mfgr is now using a different
chip than before in the device.

Here's my lsusb -v output:
Bus 005 Device 010: ID 0b95:772a ASIX Electronics Corp.
  idVendor 0x0b95 ASIX Electronics Corp.
  iManufacturer 1 ASIX Elec. Corp.

I don't see the device as being supported on http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices

I'm thinking this might be the driver for it but I haven't tested it:
http://www.asix.com.tw/FrootAttach/driver/AX88772_772A_178_LINUX2.6.14_REV105.zip

Here's a link to where to buy the device:
http://www.cablestogo.com/product.asp?cat_id=1501&sku=39998

I've also queried the mfgr tech-support contact([EMAIL PROTECTED]) for
help in selecting the appropriate driver.

Thanks for looking into this!!
