Public bug reported:
default ubuntu 7.04 (with gnome), but using xfce as the desktop
environment, installed from the ubuntu repositories. kernel 2.6.20-17
(the latest update from the ubuntu repos). bug existed with previous
kernels too.
symptom: xfce's own screen compositor is enabled, but all transparency
settings set to non-transparent (sliders are all the way to the right).
still, xfce-menu is a bit transparent.
""xfce4-panel-menu-plugin" does not exist in Ubuntu. Please choose a different
