Binary package hint: kmix
In Intrepid Alpha 5, KDE 4.1 unmuting headphone channel switches sound
to front/master.
steps to reproduce :
1. connect headphones (sound switches to headphones just fine)
2. mute the channel ( channel gets muted properly)
3. unmute channel (sound switches to front/master channel even though
headphones are still connected)
all done using laptop hotkeys.
** Affects: kdemultimedia (Ubuntu)
