I have the same bug as Ryan. the 386 kernel works dandy, but the 686 does not, only difference I can see (between the 386 and 686) is in the menu.lst, the 686 one does not have initing, adding it does not solve the problem on the 686 one, so for now, sticking with 386. in breezy it worked with 686 just dandy.
