Binary package hint: ubiquity
Ubiquity does not ask for proxy settings during the initial setup phase.
This has the side-effect of making the install appear to hang if it
encounters a gateway that drops all outbound net connections when people
should be using the proxy server.
It's taken approximately 20 minutes for the install to resume itself,
after trying repeatedly to access the outside world. It would be nice to
be able to prevent this.
