Public bug reported:

Prodding around i noticed a little wasteage:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls /usr/bin/perl5.8.7 -l
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1059104 2006-06-15 04:45 /usr/bin/perl5.8.7
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls /usr/bin/perl -l
-rwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1059104 2006-06-15 04:45 /usr/bin/perl

The SHA1SUM on these is as follows:

32d38c1e9137c54811a4e4a752638c54c6e7a0a7  /usr/bin/perl
32d38c1e9137c54811a4e4a752638c54c6e7a0a7  /usr/bin/perl5.8.7

These two 1MB files are both identical, can we remove /usr/bin/perl and
make a symlink during package build to save some space?

Note: the original reporter indicated the bug was in package 'perl5';
however, that package was not published in Ubuntu.
