Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Firefox can't install extensions. It reports installation is disabled,
and provides a button to the preferences dialog.

The preferences dialog opens at 0 size so is very hard to find.

There is no option to enable installation of extensions,
the panel lies.

The 'warn me when web sites try to install extensions
and themes' is checked, with extensions from mozilla.org
allowed, but in fact it doesn't allow them.

So, that's two distinct bugs. [I NEED adblock!]

** Affects: firefox (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
