I have libgnomeprint2.2-0 version 2.12.1-3ubuntu, my lpoptions file has been set up by the gnome printer configuration interface, it contains Dest lj5 Duplex=DuplexNoTumble, I just removed and added the printer again, but it prints single-sided. Kde applications and firefox print double-sided.
