Public bug reported:

I upgraded from breezy to dapper

Update manager says it will not install libopenal0.

Here is the message it displays: Some updates require the removal of
further software. Use the function "Mark All Upgrades" of the package
manager "Synaptic" or run "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" in a terminal to
update your system completely.

1) "Mark All Upgrades" in Synaptic does not mark any upgrades.

2) "sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" does the following:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Password:
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done

The following packages have been kept back:
  libopenal0
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.
