Public bug reported: Having configured sleep/suspend to work in the power settings dialog, pressing sleep does not work. The display dims, the "moon" LED flashes, then immediately it returns to the Ubuntu Login screen. Logging in produces a blank display with a pointer (which still responds to the mouse) but not the original display. After about 5 minutes, the display goes away, and nautilus etc. load. The previous X session has been lost. The "moon" LED continues to flash.
This is a pity as Suspend to disk does not work either. ** Affects: thinkpad (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- Dapper / IBM T60p - sleep/suspend does not work when configured https://launchpad.net/bugs/50324 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
