================================================= Call for Student Volunteers in SenSys/BuildSys'20 ================================================= SenSys'20 http://sensys.acm.org/2020/index.html BuildSys'20 http://buildsys.acm.org/2020/ Student volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring the success of SenSys/BuildSys'20, which also provides an excellent opportunity for students from around the globe to meet online and exchange ideas with leading researchers from both industry and academia. [Application Process] Please submit through the following link before Oct. 16th 2020 AoE. https://forms.gle/Rv36y5gToJqBq5aY8 Notifications Date: Oct 21th, 2020 [Benefits] Being a student volunteer is an excellent opportunity to meet (online this year), interact and network with leading academic and industrial researchers and practitioners in the area of embedded networked sensor systems and energy-efficient built environments. For the recognition of your participation as a student volunteer, we will - Provide a certification as a student volunteer - List your name on SenSys/BuildSys'20 conference website - Free registration (but this year we offer free registration to all participants) [Role] - Approximately 15 to 20 hours of work in total before/during the conference week. - Student volunteers will be assigned to the conference sessions. - Technical assistance to speakers and conference participants. - Other activities that keep SenSys/BuildSys'20 running smoothly. For example: - Helping the management of videos uploaded by paper presenters. - Managing the sessions as the host of Zoom's webinar. - Verifying presenters in sessions. [Qualifications] - Student volunteers must be enrolled in a Ph.D. or Master program at the time of the conference.
