Python 3 is the future so getting used to it sooner rather than later is a good thing. But functionally, for now, there is no great reason to move.

If I were you, starting out relatively fresh, I'd probably go Pyton 3 just to save relearning. But be aware not all 3rd party libraries are ported yet...
