Or are you also asking in a roundabout way if anyone on the list has a better idea for parsing broken html? It would help if you would take the time to explain how the html is broken and what exactly "lost of problems" with BeautifulSoup were. Also I think beautifulsoup is part of the Python standardlib now, isn't it? Why do you think it is not maintained?
