Subject: [Tutor] problem with IDLE
I just got a Windows box up and running. When I go to use IDLE I get an error saying something along the lines of, "IDLE was unable to start you may need to shut off the firewall". Now when I shut the firewall off it starts up fine. So my question is, does IDLE try to access a port? if so, what port? I would like to be able to make rule so that I can keep the firewall running and have no problem starting IDLE.
Thank you in advance,
