That's a stupid thing.

I invested time to program a pedometer, but then I discovered, that my
app stops, when I turn off the phone.

So, for now, there is no possibility to program a pedometer that runs in
background on ubuntu touch :-(

Is there a plan to eliminate this problem?

Bug description:
  I want to program a pedometer.

  But when I switch between apps, my pedometer stops counting my steps.

  So, how can I avoid that?
