No observable interaction in 14.04 on Macbook Pro

Bug description:
So I was using the app just fine, and so I switched to midori until
the paste bug was fixed. I just noticed the fix and now when I start
the app, all i get is a white page with a whiteish box at the bottom
of the window. The address bar is gone, and I try to drag and click
multiple parts of the screen, to no avail. I then summoned it via
typing "browser: www.google.com" in the dash, and still the same blank
window.
