That's a little spanner in the works. I was thinking you wanted the more common setting like: synclient ClickFinger2=3 which makes two finger clicking the same as Mac, ChromeOS and many Windows machines. I think it's a sane default, although comment #5 suggests you're asking for something totally configurable like the X synaptics driver. That's also reasonable but I would hope in the new world of Mir and Unity8 that we start with providing people a GUI for configuring it all :)
