I’m not seeing that on my MX4, with the same test page. But it could very well be a case of the OOM killer killing the renderer process because the system is short on memory (bug #1478853).
@Thibaut: when the web page becomes white, the chrome (top bar with address bar, back and forward buttons) remains visible, right?
