Upstream is not currently prioritizing this so it would be Qt 5.7 at
earliest. Qt supports -opengl dynamic on Windows to be able to
dynamically switch between a native OpenGL and a GLES library.

Title:
Support dynamic switching between OpenGL and OpenGL ES

Status in qtbase-opensource-src package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
This bug is to track the feature of eventually getting rid of hard
coded -opengl desktop / es2 selection on Linux too. This would mostly
make maintenance easier, as the many "-gles" x86 packages would not be
needed anymore and symbols handling would be simpler.
