At first I had the impression that it works on the desktop and it only reproduces on the device. Today I discovered that it also happens on the desktop (and edited the description to explain). This helped me see my mistake: the "MainPage" component was actually a MainView with a Page (it should have been just a page). Happened because of refactoring...
