Status in Canonical System Image: In Progress Status in telephony-service package in Ubuntu: In Progress Bug description: If I set the "global" application volume to silent, and start a phone call, the ring out tone is normal, it uses the volume set up for the voice calls, but when the remote party rejects the call, the ring out just ends without any signaling, no busy tone. Expected behaviour: The busy tone should be played with the same volume as the ring out tone. Actual behaviour: The busy tone is played with the volume set up for the applications, if applications are silenced, busy tone wont make any sound.
